Finding that Dream Job
Don’t we all wish that there could be arrows pointing towards our dream job? Maybe a blueprint of how to get to our dream occupation? I know I sure do.
Some persons find that reaching to their dream job comes extremely easy. While others like me, for example, have to go through trial and error first. This trial and error involves starting a job and realizing your heart, soul and mind are not fully invested in the job. When you realize this you then quit and try to find another one.
Luckily this trial and error of doing so called ‘lousy’ jobs have actually helped me to understand what I do like and don’t like as well. When I’m in a job I don’t likeIi easily identify the symptoms. After a while, I get really bored doing that job. I see myself having to drag myself out the bed to get that job done.
My imagination of the perfect dream job involves a job where I am excited to work on it every single day. I’m so excited that I wake up every morning looking forward to it and it never becomes boring. I’m not looking for an easy ride because challenge is good but even with a little challenge once I love the job i’m doing a little challenge shouldn’t even bother me.
Finding what you like to do is the first step in finding your dream job. Knowing your likes and dislikes help you in your assessment of your potential job.
Persistence is key.
